Did you see God take a pen and write it down that he forbade it? How do you know God forbade it - or did man forbid it?

It's in the Bible, and it's also in the 3 books of Enoch. There were guidelines given by God, man ignored. Mankind keeps on doing it.

Hmmmm... Isn't the Bible Inspired by the Holy Spirit? So then wouldn't this contradict itself?

No, the Holy Spirit isn't dead people. It's God's active force.

God tells the stars to hang from the sky, they obey.
God tells the oceans to only go this far, they do.
God tells the sun to shine and set, it does.
God tells the trees to grow, and they do.
God tells man how to live, man says no.

The old testament was written in times of ignorance and superstition, this fear made just about everything sin.

Sorry, it's the truth.
It's your truth Lisalisa, but it's not everyone's truth. We have the free will to choose our own.

There are way too many contradictions in the bible. Some parts say you are not allowed to be this and yet Jesus was, or Peter did. It confuses the heck out of me.

Yes, you do have the free will to choose what you're going to do. But, that has absolutely nothing to do with TRUTH.

There is truth, and there is non-truth. Free will and truth are not the same thing. I have the free will to believe whatever I want, doesn't make it truth.

I could be a 450 lb woman, and believe that I'm slim and fit. Doesn't mean it's the truth, it would mean that I'm deceived into believing a lie. Beliefs and truth aren't always the same thing.

If it didn't confuse you, would you follow it? Would you be interested in it if you understood it? Would you be willing to change if you understood?

I'm willing to help you understand the parts that you're confused about if you're serious about learning and discovering the real truth.

I learned long ago never to argue with Christians, they seem to think their way is the only way.
