Hiya Vicky
Oil burners are lovely. I use them a lot.
The first thing that came to mind was lavender. I know it's traditionally used to aid in sleeping, so I assume it's a calming essence. I'm a big fan of sandalwood and bergamot...but that's mainly because I love the smell!!
Good luck with revision and exams.

Hello :)
Exams...oh I don't miss those days!
Here are the essential oils I'd recommend for these different purposes:
For calming of the stress -- you might want to go with something floral. A rose geranium would work, though pure rose is even better but very expensive.
For cleansing of worries and anxieties -- I would suggest one of black pepper, black spruce, douglas fir or cedar atlas. Even terragon--but don't use that one on your skin. Something earthy with tree energy.
For mental alertness and easing of headaches -- Peppermint; Rosemary
For wholeness and a ray of sunshine -- Essential oil of ginger.
All the best!! I know it's overwhelming, but this too shall pass. :)

Try frankincense and myrrh. You can get it as oil or resin. I prefer to burn resin. Some studies indicate that frankincense strengthens your nervous system. The health of your nervous system directly relates to handling stress.

Vanilla and rose. They can be so relaxing that they put you to sleep, though!
