How to contact Jesus Christ?
Hi guys, I am not Christian but I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe in the Bible, I would love to be able to contact Jesus Christ, and have a relationship with him.
Can any of you put me in the right direction of how to do this? I would really love to be able to do this
Peace and love, Emily Anne x

You could try praying, and just tell him what's up, that you'd like to have a relationship with him, and whatever else you want. When I was going through a horrific time in my life I did that very thing and did get an answer from Christ, though it was more like the Christ that lives inside me, taking the form of Jesus. I went to Church for a while, as I was so blown away by my experience, but decided it wasn't for me.
I'm now trying to work out my place in everything, but the point of me posting this was to let you know that prayer works, and I recommend trying it. It's obviously not my place to tell you what to believe and how you should live, and trust me, that is NOT my intention in saying this, but I would encourage you to explore other ancient texts and sources, not just the Bible, as I feel that although it does contain truths, it is not the one and only, ultimate, infallible word of God.
Sorry if I rambled there, I'm sure other people will chime in here.
Best of luck to you, Emilyanne-X

Hi thank you for your reply! I have thought about praying, on a regular basis, so I' think I will put that into action! i think it must be a special thing to haw a relationship with Jesus Christ, and also having someone so powerful there in tough times.
Thanks again!

Praying is good but by itself it isn't enough. You can speak to Jesus through prayer but if you hope to contact him you must listen to him as well. The only way to do that is by reading the gospels and ask God to give you the wisdom to understand them. It would probably be best to do this first and find out what he has to say to you before you spend much time talking to him.

Forget about the man Jesus, go strait to the Christ within you, for this is what Jesus pointed to, he said I can bo nothing of myself, he is not God, he declared God or the father if you want to use that word, you need to find your true inner Self the Christ, its the only way, that is if you want to be a true so called Christian.

Really like this answer..... an elegant-simple solution.
Or ask him to appear in whatever form best suits you.
But ask-look within your heart rather than your mind.
A lovely thread.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: (Matt 7:7, KJV)
Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained. Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there." (Gospel of Thomas 77)

Jesus was taking about his inner SELF the Christ, when he said those words, the same inner Christ that we all are connected to.

Exactly so.

Psychoslice, I feel like you can get a bit defensive about the inner SELF Christ in preference to the actual man (Jesus Christ), but perhaps I'm just reading too much into it. In one sense I agree with you, that the spirit of Jesus is within us (and without us, as was depicted in the quote from the Gospel of Thomas). However, I do believe that there is (and will be) a literal return of Jesus (the man). The reason I felt like speaking up about this is because a lot of people can use their belief in the spirit of (or inner self) Christ exclusively, to trash the commands that he gave (using the excuse that he wasn't rea, or that the Bible is made up).
I'm not saying you're saying this, psychoslice. But it has been a trend I've noticed amongst many people I've met (which I think has been slightly influenced by the first part of Zeitgeist).
