what are the chances ?

What are the chances when I am doing a reading for myself and a few cards jump out of the deck .... that these are ones I need to pay special attention to ? or do I need to practice my shuffling ?

I always include them at the end. They are of some relevance.

Practice your shuffling....I personally never use jumpers....if you were meant to read them you would draw them.

This is how I read, do what works for you.

Thanks Teal and Pamuya ~

I lean towards the idea that the most important ones jump out of the deck for me, if there are one or two ... if half the deck falls on the floor then I figure it is my shuffling ! ........

except for one time, when everything was so overwhelming and I figured just maybe I did need all those " important" cards that " jumped " out at me .

I am just curious, what others think or how they choose their cards ?

i never had one jump out, i wouldn't know what to think of it.

i like to practice with them, shuffle them and think and feel which card i want to draw and then see if can draw it.

Hiya Dreamie

I wait for the leapers!

As I'm shuffling, I ask that they jump out, one at a time please, or flip sideways and slide out. If a bunch jumps out, I simply put them back and continue shuffling, requesting again that I want them one at a time.

Numerous times I've had half-hearted jumpers who I've put back (but checked what they were first) only to find them leaping out again seconds later.

I'd say go what with feels right for you. I like a bit of fun in life and to see them leap brings a smile to my face!

Wow Gracey, I can't imagine not having one jump out. Usually at least one does, each time I do a reading.

Very cool idea to choose a card, then see if you can draw it. Your drawings are great ! I especially like your current avatar Angel you drew !

I think it's up to the individual :) One of my teachers completely ignored them, another said it was indicative of the cards getting fed up and wanting a rest (lol), and I call them 'fallouts' and analyse them separately. In my experience, they're usually related to the following spread, kind of like 'theme' cards.
