When justice
Doesn't exist
When love has missed
and your heart is opened
to the stinking sewer
Be a bride to the word
and Never forget how
the simple sentences of song
cause you to exist
and will cause everything to go on
Take a casual thought
of a word and let it fall
down and down
into the bright eye
and never miss
its target of wholeness
Twist and twist
The world twists and twists
its long body along
hissing greed, violence
and never a song really
because a song is too much
for those who are intent
on living in the shadows.
