Recovering from energy depletion

I have been feeling depleted of all life force lately, an energy healer I visited told me she got the sense of exhaustion and that its connected to my root chakra. This kind of came on strong after an ayahuasca ceremony which I feel I left unfinished (I was scared to take a full dose on the last ceremony, and feel this was a huge mistake as the medicine could not do its work). I've been like a zombie or a ghost for the past few weeks, not really alive. The most disturbing aspect is being cut off from emotions, especially compassion and love, I have always felt compassion strongly but lately its been blocked. Equally disturbing is how I have been isolating myself and not feeling like talking to anyone at all. My sex drive is gone altogether which isn't a problem for me but it seems to be a reflection of the overall energetic depletion.

Are there ways I can heal this through energy work? Can the specific cause of this depletion be diagnosed? Can I learn to perform energy healing techniques on myself, even in this numbed state?

I would be inclined to practice visualizing an egg around my self. The egg can be of any material from bright light to stainless steel, from Diamond to cast Iron. The egg shape itself , quiet aside from it's evident nurturing connotations is energetically speaking a cascading energy that will make for the energy generated to magnify and fall back in upon itself and thus regenerating the creator...

When I get that depleted tired feeling I always head for my favorite Reiki Master for an energy session...makes a huge difference!

Also I'm a person who is extremely sensitive to the energy of both people and places...I run a business and unfortunately the best way for me to promote my business is doing trade shows...I say unfortunately because when I do really big trade shows with sometimes thousands of attendees.....I come home feeling "psychically polluted" and drained from all the different energies I've been exposed to......

Just recently I worked a show that had more than 50,000 people attend...for a few weeks afterwards I felt very out of sorts and was having trouble sleeping.....

Long story short...My reiki master friend worked on me and found several of my Chakra's and third eye closed off....an hour long session with her cleared this and i felt amazingly better!!
