Past Life through Dreams

Is there any way to know if a dream is a clue or connection to something in a past life?

Other than the feel of the dream, or if it is explicitly mentioned that this dream pertains to a specific past life, it is not always easy to know. However, with me, I either know of that lifetime already, or my guide will say in the dream, "This dream is of a past life..." or "Because you asked, here is a memory of that past life". Sometimes a dream will be another view of a past life I already know about but from a different period in that lifetime.

I will sometimes ask my guides about a past life or to please show me a specific lifetime, and then I am shown that lifetime in a dream later that night if it is permitted. Some lifetimes are not permitted to be viewed because that lifetime is too similar to your current life and knowing too much may influence your decisions in your current life.
