Oh I dont condemn people for having fun, I merely wished to express an observation concerning my changing point of view.
I too was told I was too serious most of the first half of this life, I just didn't realize what I was serious about until recently. Or for that matter, just what deserved serious thought.
And I too find real comfort in finding those on this site who seem to have experienced along the same lines as I.

Everyone needs forgiveness (even if they don't think they do). No one is perfect. As others have said, search for the positive. Disillusionment can leave you very disappointed; I understand that. But it means you are ready to see something greater. Practice small acts of kindness; smiling at people on the street, holding doors open for strangers, making sure you sincerely thank the people who help you (even the people who run the register at the grocery store). Small things like these strengthen the sense that everyone is connected and is perhaps one of the first steps toward bringing the "real-er" existence into your daily, 3-D life.

Also, don't forget we are also connected to the things we find in nature! Stop and smell the roses, and if you don't think it too odd, thank them for smelling nice. :)

Very nice, Raewynn. Thank you for posting that! I loved reading it, and completely agree.
