One of the hardest things in life is to move past selfishness and do what is right for our beloved pets. If the animal isn't suffering, you can take the time by loving him more than ever, and trying to come to terms with the impending loss. But deep down, you will know what to do and when.
And if death is so wonderful, why all the sadness? Because we are still part of the physical realm, where we are used to communicating in earthly ways. So the loss is hard. But our animal is at Rainbow Bridge, and feeling no pain. I have had animals come to me in readings and thank me for helping to put them out of their misery.
My husband put our dog Dice to sleep while Dice was still in his right mind, after buying him his favorite food, french fries. That was horrible. But he was in such pain.
But it all works out in the end
