I think I blocked my third eye! Over meditated?

I have been meditating for around 3 months. I LOVE it, but I think I may have over stimulated or blocked my third eye.

At first I was seeing colors, blue, red, purple, white flashing lights the usual beginner visions. I could also look at an item, and get a very good picture of it in my minds eye.

I meditate in several ways. With a candle, without a candle. Several different types of meditation styles on YouTube.

I started to use the special third eye meditations, or beats along with balancing my chakras.

Another thing I did was use several high vibration crystals and placed them on my forehead.

My forehead has been feeling very tight, and now, it's almost impossible to look at An object and get a visual.

Also, I'm getting these strange tingling sensations on my upper forehead. I'm guessing its from my crown chakra, which I also place crystals on.

Has anyone gone through this? Or anything similar?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I wouldn't worry too much about it...

I used to see all sorts of colors vividly while meditating. Now it's more subtle, and sometimes I hardly see any colors at all. I think our minds work in mysterious ways, and just because you may not have the same experiences before doesn't mean that you lost your higher self.

Even though I have gone through something similar, I still have yet to understand experiences that come and go because of meditation. I still meditate because I know it's always worth it in the end! There is no such thing as over meditating, so don't worry.

I really appreciate your reply.

An idea came to me last night to put a heating pad on my forehead. To relax any tightness. It's so much better today.

I'm NOT going to listen to any more of those third eye meditations. I think I get the most out of meditating the organic way. Total silence, (I like it dark), paying attention to my breathing and surrounding myself with a white light, coming from my higher consciousness.

I'm going to kundalini yoga tomorrow & I'm seeing an extremely experienced Qigong doctor later in the day.
