The Passing

And so it will come to pass, that with the completion of this my days.
I will accept the fulfillment of this my life.
These questsfor balance that began with my birth will through my passing, have come full cycle.
As my inner vision, senses the waning of the light, which has illuminated my path of purpose.
I will reflect on my mind's images, as I seek to acknowledge the substance of my labors.
All that I have manifested in my time, I now see as reflections of my choice and understanding.
My Soul rejoices, and finds great solace in this reality.
For as my heart now stills, and the breath that once carried life's prana within my body withdraws.
Let all who have known, bear witness to my completion.
And as I releasethis last whisper of life from this vessel.
Know that this event will initiate, yet another wonderous beginning.
As I slip softly now from this mortal robe, I hear the voices of those I leave behind and I bid them to embrace the Joy of my fulfillment, ans celebrate its reality.
For I now recognize, that each of my choices during this life, has in reality, been but a footstep that has moved me along the path of return to my Creator, that we would again be as One.

your poem connects me to one my brother wrote long before he died..He expressed and shared his merge with the creator. He also described how all his suffering and pain in that moment where he merged with the love and light bought solace and peace to his heart and released him from his physical limitations caused from the ravages of his physical illness.

Your poem brings to light why he looked so beautiful when he died..."yet another wondorous beginning".....no wonder he was smiling..
