Rubbing hands together

Hi Everyone!

I recently have noticed, out of nowhere, I'll just start rubbing my hands together, in an up and down motion as well as circular motion. I've noticed i've been doing it a lot lately. I am starting my Reiki 1 course next month, has that anything to do with it? Is it my body's way of preparing me? Thought I'd get some insight on it.

Perhaps you're becoming aware of your personal energy as you anticipate learning & attuning to Reiki. This is a good way to start feeling your energies ...rub your hands together then pull them apart and then press them towards each other again as if holding a ball ...you will begin to feel resistance as you become 'attune' to feeling your own energy - you can make that energy ball bigger and bigger ...it's an excellent exercise. You may not feel the 'resistance' the first time you try but it won't take long. You need not be attuned to Reiki to use this exercise or feel this energy. It's good way to start training yourself to 'feel' energy, so I would practice with this as often as you like! Congrats on deciding to make Reiki part of your life!

Hello

Its done to clear and open the energy channels. Like a DR often does to warm his/ hers before they are put on your body as they might be cold.

Energy too can be cold at first the rubbing also warms that energy up a bit.

Talk to the Reki master who is doing your course/ attunements they will explain all...
