Want to learn reiki ..

Dear all,

I want to learn reiki level 1 and 2 ..

please suggest preparation steps

do I have to pay if so how much to pay (I know anything free does not stay for long and people dont value it)

I live in West Berkshire, England any Reiki masters please?

@8thsinner Many thanks... I've been through this site... however many suggest reiki energy attunement should be given by reiki master or grand master .. to develop reiki on self it would take long time.

Hence asking can anyone attune me please?

I am learning well enough on my own.
Videos can help you with attunement if you feel the need of it.

Dear 8thsinner, Went though Level 1 video on the site which you provided. Understood what is Reiki and they have mentioned after attunement Reiki needs to be practiced for 21 days.

I may be dump here please pardon me

what is that needs to be practiced for 21 days after attunement?

Make sure to treat yourself during the 21 day period and if you can try practicing hatsurei-ho.

Penelope Quest has a few books on Reiki that you might find helpful. She goes over the hand positions and talks about the 21 day cleanse. I suggest that you do a 21 cleanse after each attunement. The 21 day cleanse helps you to feel the energy as well as practice with the symbols.

I find it best to find a Master who can provide you with the symbols and explain them, along with chakras and why your hold positions. It's like a teacher/student experience. And then you get attuned. Getting attuned without really knowing about it isn't going to help too much. And even with what I've learned, I've also learned now that intuition plays a big part in it. That comes in time. If you can't find any reiki Masters locally, perhaps there are some online? I've got an AMAZING one here in America!
