Can Spiritual Awakening Slow Down/Stop?

Thank you all so much! Every single one of you, truly helped me to think positive about my situation, in a different way. Yesterday, I truly felt like a new person (I'm finally comfortable in my own skin)(socializing was a breeze for me, which I have/had extreme social anxiety). And, when I came home I felt this warm tingling sensation in the back of my head, felt really nice, to be honest. It was new to me. Something was definitely working inside of me. I'm beginning to meditate regularly, again. I was slacking, which I shouldn't have (if anyone has any good pointers on how to meditate properly, I'd much appreciate it).

The Dark Night, I could only imagine that's when I truly fell apart. I became extremely depressed, lost and overall just completely hitting rock bottom. Those were the hardest days to get by, but were well worth it. I've heard most Spiritual Awakenings occur during a family crisis, trauma, or some kind of dysfunctional relationships. Which, I can relate to. Not to bring my life story in hands but just as The Black Seat said, "Surround yourself with like minded people. They can help you." I totally agree, which is hard to come by, imo. I don't know if it's me or what but I seem to attract close minded people but the deeper I go into my spiritual path, I could only imagine, it's just time to bump into the right crowd.
