I find it useful to distinguish the soul body (neschama) on the higher mental subplanes from the devic intelligence that operates the soul body.

It seems that the soul/solar intelligence is capable of doing more than one thing at a time

Some teachings refer to the soul body on the higher mental subplanes as the causal body or the Egoic Lotus (Ego in this context referring to the Higher Self). This soul body is also known as the Solar Angel.

This soul body is the vehicle of expression for the Soul in form, just as the physical body is the vehicle of expression for the personality on the physical plane.

And like all other form, the soul body is made up of devic intelligence which governs the elementals of the relevant plane.

The soul body on the higher mental subplanes is where the Soul rests after discarding all vestiges of the personality in the process of withdrawing its extension of consciousness from the lower vehicles - the physical body, and later the astral body and finally the lower mental body.

And returning to the theme of this thread, the Soul then views the incarnation just ended from an impersonal perspective - life in human form is a passing source of experience and learning.

It may help us while still incarnate to develop a similar impersonal perspective regarding all the ups and downs of our lives, to not take ourselves so seriously.

Peace

At least (au moins), when using a foreign language word on this Eng Forum ...you could say
what the language is, maybe where it comes from or something.

You see what I mean above? au moins has no bearing on anything, why write it?
Ex:
neschama is a Judaic word for soul or spirit, so?
au mions is French for at least, so?
To make the point clear.

Devic kingdom, the realm of devas --I did not happen to know this, so I looked it up for others, also.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

There are likely as many answers to the question quoted as the number of contributors guessing what answers there might be.

But if one re-phrased the question to become "How DID death (of someone else) change your perspective on life?" you would have a thread where 'real life' personal examples could be given.

There is a Jewish tradition of not writing the name of the Lord of Israel so they mix the letters of IHVH with those of ADNI to produce Jehovah.

Thus the recent word "God" is written with a missing letter so as not to offend Him/Her

Now, offending God by using or saying or writing one of His many names?
That I could not comment on. Why would He be offended?

This is similar to Muslims having a tradition of saying Peace Be Upon Him, just after saying 'Muhammad' and they abbreviate it, no less: PBUH
