earthatic... Regardless of differing religious concepts, there really is only one God, one Source... which many people these days are calling the Oneness. It can't be thought but it can be experienced directly for oneself, beyond the mind.

Deities (or "gods") are also as idols they may worship...even a golden calf.

What do deities or gods have to do with what I said about formless Oneness?

It serves as another interpretation for what a "god" (Allah means "God") could be, because the Islams do not see it as Brahmanic, although there are similarities. Which one is truer than the other, I do not know.

That's right. It's only in direct inner awareness beyond the mind that one can know what is true.

Ahh yes, one's own truth. Taking away the responsibility of being wrong or inaccurate!

Sorry, that went too far! You can ignore that.

No, my friend, not one's own truth... One's own experience of what is universal... the same within us all.

That is decidedly wearisome...and also has nothing to do with the interpretation of "Allah" as was being originally referred to (by you).

I think it's best to leave this alone, as is this is going off topic.

You are the only one you can trust, then ~ Who but one's self will verify it in any truly satisfactory way? That is taking responsibility. It all comes down to you. Only you would be trying to trick yourself with a 'false answer'.

Good idea....

Except it relates to the understanding that your experience of the spirit world differs from others, although you seem to believe it's universal. Instead, there is something truly universal to be discovered beyond all our individual variations in experiences and beliefs.
