Is it customary for the elderly (passed on) to look over the new familymembers?

I've never met a specific elderly but this relative began to "pop up" years ago in dreams and meditation/s and because I never knew this one in real life it is impossible for me to know if this relative is simply made up by my lively imagination or maybe even a wish that I would have gotten to know this person.

My child has told us stories before about a relative as that actually nobody would talk about so one day when our child was old enough to express itself it began doing so asking why nobody was talking about this relative and was sure that it knew this relative and had even been at it's funeral. Everyone present were puzzled. It has been the details of the stories that has been surprising, correct.

I wonder could it be customary for an elder generation (I've never met mine and my child never the other one) to watch over it's new family members like this?

Yes this does happen if you were born after a relative passed they still know who you are.and they do watch over us.
I remember when i was young come christmas time, i always used to see a man carrying a christmas tree into a house.
I had never met him it turned out to be my grandfather who passed years before i was born.
and the christmas tree was relevant as my dad told me.when my parents first got married the first christmas my dad wasnt keen on a tree.
so my grandfather got one for my mother and he did this every year until he died.

I haven't had any spiritual experiences after my father passed away which doesn't give me strong ideas about afterlife. Unless of course he moved on completely.

I'm sorry to hear that Ruya. The way it has been for me is that they can't get through if I am myself too caught up in my own (lower vibration) grief, anger etc. They will then come on later once that part is over with, I am thinking it is easier for them then? I don't know of course when your father's spirit crossed over, but thinking maybe that could be it too in your case?

Too if I should be so blunt I experience that it is more likely spirits on the lower vibrations that will cause a disturbance by sounds, poltergeist activity that you can't miss.

But the "love & light" side is more careful, toned in their messages. I think it is too that they don't want to frighten you. But they are there. Or so I believe.

I remember the time when my connection with my biological dad sort of got this murmur way to it, not like it had been before. I remember I thought he could have been reincarnated. Mediums can describe the same thing when connecting to some who has passed over and been reincarnated I found out later, so maybe that is then what it is about? One can tell I've been told still connect to their higher spirit or mother ship or what ever name spirit is suppose to go under. We're all still connected I think but we can be further away or closing in. When it is meant to be we will see each other again. I try to think of it as if someone just has to go off for work to do some spiritual work, and I have to go and do my thing, and then when that is done we will see each other again, but in the meanwhile it don't mean we don't love each other, or have lost each other.

Our spirit comes from the information upon the eggs and sperms of our existence. Thus your child has ancestral data within his spirit. His physical mind is picking up the data from his spiritual mind and he knows the relative quite well. The relative is no longer alive but his memory survives him. In the future he may even come back to life again upon a future new Earth. Thus the memory can become a person again.

Thank you for sharing jerrygg38 :) I have been interested to know about ancestral memory figuring it must be stored and passed on somehow, but I had not before thought in those terms you now described could be the cause behind it.
