No, the second you leave your body you are no longer in the physical dimension and you do not return to the physical dimension until the projection is over and you are once again inside of your physical body. People who report going to the physical world are going to places inside of the astral planes that they created mentally by thinking about where they want to go. Even if they manage to find the RTZ space overlapping the physical space they wish to visit during a projection it is not going to look exactly the same, it is going to have distortions. Random people will show up there, random objects will be missing or be in places they are not in inside of the physical dimension, or random objects that aren't even in the physical space will appear in places inside of the RTZ. Eitherway the RTZ is not the physical dimension, it is a spiritual dimension closest to the physical dimension but it almost always has distortions so whatever reason someone has for wanting to visit a physical space in a projection is likely not going to be possible. The myth about "can I spy on a girl in the shower during a projection" is completely false. You cannot do this because you are not in the physical world the split second you leave your body, you will likely go to a place you mentally constructed with your thoughts or some random place that has nothing at all to do with where you wanted to go.
On the rare occasion where someone can peer into a place they have never seen during a projection and can give someone evidence of this by naming some objects they saw it is something different from astral projection. It is called remote viewing and I guess you could consider it in the field of projecting, it's similar but it is something different on it's own. Remote viewing you are typically just a small point of consciousness, you have no subtle body to travel with, and you can peer into a place during the viewing. Whether or not during a remote viewing you are peering into the physical dimension, or just the RTZ dimension overlapping the physical space is impossible to speculate. But there are a few reported cases of people working for governments and using remote viewing to spy on other countries military bases and things of that nature. They usually come back able to give some evidence that the government didn't even know, but it all is very vague. They aren't a full subtle body so they have no way of communicating with anything that they encounter during their remote viewing, all they can do is view things.
Like I said previously once you actually start projecting you are going to realize the impossibility of ever finding a physical place during a projection and even if you manage to you are not in the physical dimension anymore so it would be distorted and a waste of a projection. So many people get into projecting because they think they are going to go visit places they want to travel to and after they start projecting they quickly realize that is never going to happen and their hopes of doing so are unfounded and quite frankly a waste of time. There are so many better things you can do with your projections. If you want to visit physical places take a vacation or go and visit them in your physical life. That is what living a physical life is for, astral projection is for visiting spiritual places and learning spiritual things.
