Color MIND BLOWN. Could this the Law of Attraction at work?

Yesterday something completely unprecedented and mind-blowing happened. I will precede the following story with the disclaimer that I am highly inexperienced in the Law of Attraction, and although I've had a vague understanding of it all for a long time now I've often felt I'd subconsciously sabotage any real attempts I made at this point. I have, however, felt increasingly in tune with myself and the universe in the past few weeks or so.

I woke up in the morning and lay awake in bed, contemplating the day ahead. My boyfriend has been working very hard recently juggling a job and 2 bands, and this was his only day off for a long time so I felt I wanted to be able to treat him and make it feel special. I'm young and pretty strapped for cash (something I am identifying I really need to re-address my attitudes toward - any tips on that would be great)... but I closed my eyes and thought to myself "I want to have a wonderful day, be able to treat him and take care of him, take him out for a nice dinner and afford all of it without a single worry about money." I also thought of my 'Angels' as I did this (also a new-ish concept to me... Angels? Universe? Are they interchangeable? Either way I'm feeling something!) I literally asked silently, "Ok, so what can be done today to get me that cash? Money doesn't just fall out of the sky... How can I make it so?" Immediately an urge came over me. I never make bets. Never. But my ex was a huge fan of horse racing and I gave him a text message straight away: "Any horses I should bet on today?", to which he jokingly replied "Just pick the one with the silliest name!"

I headed towards a betting website and saw there were several races on. I scrolled down to the 2nd race and a name immediately caught my eye. I know nothing about racing or odds, so I had no idea at that moment that the 25/1 odds meant this horse had at best a 3.8% chance of winning. I checked my online account which contained a measly £15 (told you I was strapped!) but I figured a £5 bet couldn't hurt. The 25/1 odds meant the return would be £130.

I placed the bet and decided if I was going to do this, I was going to DO IT PROPERLY. Just a few days earlier I had happened upon the blog of a woman who had been driving past a casino and her kids had helped her manifest some winnings - so I gave it a shot. I texted my boyfriend and told him to "close your eyes and imagine really, really hard that in 45 minutes time I'll tell you that I've won £130. Imagine how happy I will be on the phone when I tell you the news!" He asked no questions and went ahead and did it, and I asked my ex to do the same. Meanwhile over this 45 minute period I continued to tell myself "I can afford anything I want today." feeling confident in the prospect of winning and even saying a little silent "Ok, Angels, Universe, LOA - we get this done and I never ever doubt you again!"

45 minutes went by. I tried not to think too hard or panic. I just relaxed and waited. I wasn't able to watch the race on TV as I didn't have the channel, so a couple of minutes after the end of the race I refreshed my screen. £0 balance. I felt a little disheartened but continued. It kept saying my balance was still £0. I had no idea how to check who had won so I just resigned myself and texted my ex "Oh well, first time trying, can't win em all." and he replied immediately with a dumfounded "I've just checked - your horse won. I am completely speechless." I had a mild moment of panic as I worried I hadn't successfully placed the bet, but I refreshed once more and there it was... gleaming in the corner of my screen: £130. Exactly enough money to have a wonderful, care-free day, treat my boyfriend and not have to worry about a penny.

I honestly screamed, laughed, cried, immediately told my dad the whole story and then proceeded to book my boyfriend a Swedish massage and dinner reservation for that evening, both of which he thoroughly enjoyed, as did I.

I have never seen myself as a manifester but I woke up yesterday morning with a feeling, a small nudge, and I acted on it. Whether I manifested that money or simply aligned with a path that lead me to it I don't know - I'm guessing that's what manifesting is all about anyway, right? All I know is I never bet, I never win big, and I had a 3.8% chance of any of that working... but it did.

It is a very nice story. I wouldn't get into the gambling vibe, though. But, you only put down 5 pounds so you were careful. Spirituality and gambling don't go hand in hand..

I also found it curious that your ex was involved. Did you boyfriend know?

Anyway, well done. Maybe the experience is showing you how you can truly manifest money, and so it doesn't have to come from gambling in the future.

Ohhh, I meant to add as a sidenote that in no way do I now feel I should start betting money like crazy because of this experience. I totally agree with you. It would lose all it's power and stop being a unique and intuitive urge if I did. It was completely out of the blue and not something I'll be doing again unless I feel strongly drawn towards it in the same kind of way again at any point. But I'm incredibly cautious with money so it would only ever be small time £5 bets if anything at all.

The ex and I are best friends and my boyfriend is very aware of this and comfortable with it. The ex actually also had a healthy relationship with horse racing, he would make small bets when he felt lucky and never ever got addicted or greedy. I had the same concerns when I first met him but it was just his equivalent of enjoying a football game.

SoulSista,

Congratulations on achieving your desire to provide a wonderful present for your boyfriend !!

Allow me to share some guidance I've personally found very useful. I believe you'll find it useful, as well....

....especially if you want to do this over and over again, at will !

I'm looking forward to reading many more stories of you telling us how you did just that !!

How ? You'll see...

People like to call it the Law Of Attraction but at most times it is simply people following the push or their instinct to do something which leads to good circumstances.

The universe, whether people are aware of it or not always pushes people to go in the right direction, some ignore it and some take notice of it, in the end it is their choice to do either.

For people who don't believe that the universe pushes them in certain ways, look back on all the events of your life that led to here or "the now", there is no way that is coincidence, you have been lead to go in a certain direction.

The world is a stage and we all play a part whether we know it or not :)
