oh yeah i remember that one ...

'Those fallen leaves lie undisturbed 'cause your not here now'

'The gentle rain falls on my eyes' ...

I like Autumn ... I like all the seasons actually ... much needed so that, among other stuff, everything doesn't happen at once lol ...

Looking forward to seeing more Kate. They're so delicate.

I took the camera today to my parents. However it rained for most of the day so everything was bedraggled and sodden. Managed to capture these little beauts when the sun finally came out...

Bellis Daisies (I think) and Violets

And the squirrel who visits daily I have since found out is female...and either pregnant or feeding babies. She is huge with a big white belly and lots of nipples!!

The daisies are lovely Squatch ... they almost look like they are made of paper ... and the squirrel is sweet ;) I wonder whether you will get to meet the 'upcoming' family once they are old enough to venture out? ...

The daisies actually spiked a memory for me ... when i lived up in the mountains in my early 20's, there were what i used to call back then, 'paper daisies', growing along the roadside where i walked, and i would pick some and dry them out by hanging them upside down in my wardrobe for a few weeks, and then make native flower arrangements ... not to sell, just for my house and a few for friends ...

The daisies I picked were identical to this ...

Lovely night shot Kate.

The paper daisy flower looks ever so delicate...and almost already-dried. I love dried Honesty - it looks like tissue paper.
