Difference?

Is there any difference between when you die in your sleep and when you die awake?

Is one better than the other? Are they both the same? Do you just wake up in Spirit form or what happens?

It makes no difference at all.if you pass in your sleep you wake up in spirit,if you pass when awake you get taken over by someone close

I imagine when you pass in your sleep, you are not likely to feel anything.

Native Spirit, what do you mean by when you pass when awake you get taken over by someone else? As far as I'm concerned, the physical body we leave behind is a shell and nothing more.

Its difficult to say for certain & would also depend on the manner of death ...
If a person is actively dying they sleep alot, rouse for awhile, then drift off into a final sleep ...
I think in a sudden death, they might have a split second of awareness , then like switching off a light ...
A person trapped underneath something like mud, rocks, trees, etc - I think they would be aware of impending death - the pain would cause him/her to lose consciousness ...
If a person were trapped inside a cave w/out being pinned down the lack of oxygen would also cause them to lose consciousness ...
Starvation or lack of fluids, there is also awareness of impending death as well as loss of consciousness ...
We don't get to choose our death, we get to live life to the very end ...
I do believe the transition would be so quick - faster than the blink of an eye - that the manner of death would be completely irrelevant ...
As a spirit, one's death is not something to have to comes to terms with ...
While alive, all we need to know is that eventually we will die - thinking about it often will only disrupt a person's ability to live fully ...

Ive had one NDE, and I was actually asleep at the moment of impact that stopped my life briefly, ive been around directly prior to and at the moment of many people dying also, and ive begun to wonder if actually dying is in anyway different atall for anyone. Its being conscious through the leading up to it that diverse. But the actual moment of realisation, however its contained, whatever blankets its blow or corners it cushions, still covers the same core thing. I don't know this, but its something I feel could be viable.

I would think dying in ones sleep would be the way most people would want to go . I guess going to sleep fine , and waking up as a ghost could be a bit confusing .

Dying in your sleep would probably be a little less stressful that dying whilst awake? But then it could possible take a little longer maybe to realise you had passed over ★

I think Native spirit may have meant.....you get 'escorted over' by someone else...ie, a family member there to take you 'over' meaning....escorting you....not taking over your body........im sure thats how i interpreted it....
