What spell books are real

The best spells are ones you come up with yourself. There are no "official" spells. There are no words that must be said or herbs that must be used for any spell. Of course it's good to look at examples, and for that you could look at pretty much any book of spells, but what you should really do is read up on herbs, candles, colors, stones, moon phases, sabbats - then come up with your own ideas of putting them together.

Of course, you don't really need any of these for a spell. A spell is mostly directing your intentions, focusing your mind on an outcome you desire, and then making yourself believe that this result has already come to pass and life is perfect. The herbs, candles, etc. are mostly there to help you focus and direct that thought/energy.

Personally I find spells and incantations nothing more than a means by which to focus energy. It's not the words of the spell that bring about the desired results, it's the energy projected into the universe by your will and intent! Likewise no spell you cast on another will be made manifest if they have no belief in the power of such things. This sector of the universe is all about free will choice. In order for a spell directed at someone else to work, that person has to have given their permission to be manipulated in that fashion, consciously or un. Otherwise it will have no effect.
