Freedom, the opportunity to just walk away from this guy, and start a new episode of your life


Card 3: Your fears »
The High Priestess

It seems this links with The Hermit, you want time out to think things through, but are scared of an uncertain future, not knowing what lies behind the curtain worries you(I'm sensing as much as this relationship is a bit unstable you feel safe knowing he's in the background). Life is uncertain, we have no instruction manual or road map and therefore must make the journey learning what we need as we go.

The Sun

Your optimism,The Sun represents a new day, the chance to begin anew with a fresh new set of eyes. I'm hearing 'tomorrow is another day' almost as if, given a chance to think things through, (Hermit) and accept that what you fear is uncertainty, (HP) you can start to get a clearer perspective on the issue.

Oh, this card really likes to mess with people's heads. This card is showing that you may think there is some kind of 'karmic connection/soul mate' issue going on. In reality it's asking you to look at how this relationship serves you. Does it make you feel complete, or do you really feel you deserve something better? Only you can answer that.

The World

Happy and fulfilled, so whatever you decide about this relationship it is something that is going to leave you in a better place. Bear in mind the card is about endings and the woman on the card is alone.

Reading for yourself can be difficult as the questions we ask usually have some kind of emotional investment in them. A good way to practice 'disconnecting' is to pull your cards then imagine you are reading them for someone else. Replace 'me' for 'you' and treat it as somebody else's question.
And if it still doesn't make sense, come back here, post your thoughts on the cards and ask for other readers to offer input. It does help get a better understanding of what the cards are trying to say.
I hope the interpretation helps, although this is just my take on the cards.

+ did you specifically only draw cards from the Major Arcana, or was it from a full deck? (eg all 78 cards)

The fact that every card you pulled was a Major Arcana card means that this was a signifcant relationship for your spiritual growth.

With the Hermit, you just want to be alone to process all your emotions. You might be overanalyzing this situation, figuring out your next move.

The Fool wants to start fresh with this person. They want new beginnings.

With the High Priestess, you're worried about your gut feelings. It's a message to let your intuition be your guide.

With the Sun, regardless of what happens, you will find happiness. It may not be what you expected, but it will be right for you. As John Lennon said "Life happens when we're making other plans."

The Lovers represents a choice. You might feel as if he/she is choosing something over this relationship.

The World is a card about closing a chapter of your life. It represents completion of a situation. It's not necessarily a positive or negative conclusion. Sometimes it goes the way it goes.
