No actual limit, but I would say aim for a minimum of 1000 repetitions a day. This may sound like a lot but we think around 100k thoughts a day. 1k is enough to get your mind focused upon something new and more beneficial. Aim to do them in clusters of 100 at a time, then it won’t seem overwhelming. Buy at the same time, it won’t allow any negative thinking to gain a foothold again.

[quote=spiritualmountain]Hello Friends,

Is there a ideal limit on the number of affirmations to be said in a day?

Can we say 20 affirmations in a day? Is 20 a lot?

I am willing to say these affirmations for a long period of time (6 months) in order for them to work.
I'm new at this, I understand what an affirmation is, but not sure how this works

I would question the value of such a large quantity. I feel it's the quality of the affirmations that matters most....that they 'take'/are resonant/can be believed rather than being too far fetched.

Negative thinking needs mindfulness/awareness to catch the process rather than trying to override it in this questionable fashion of excessive affirmation quantity.
