Have you been saved by an angel?

Wow, those are some amazing stories.

I have 1, but i was too young to remember it. When i was a baby i was very ill and every time i was being fed i would bring it all up and my mother knew this wasn’t right and so she took me to the doctors. The doctor said that it was normal for a baby to bring some food back up and that she was over anxious. Her mum had died a few months previous to my birth and my mum had taken that VERY bad. They put it down to this. Also my mum lost a few babies before I was born.
Any way, she went home and over the next week or so she was taken me up to A&E on a regular basis as she knew I was ill but no one was listening to her. They said if they keep wasting their time with this would have to get social services involved as it looks like she wasn’t coping very well.
So my mum stopped taking me. Then one day I was laying on the sofa and my nan was over for the day. My nan said to my mum “he looks like an angel laying there” and when my mum looked she could see a halo over my head. This scared her and she took back to the hospital. They operated on me almost straight away, they later told my mum had she not brought me in that day I would have died!!!

My mum has always said it was her mum that did that for her!!! It’s a nice story I like to hear - - It wasn’t my time to die!!!!

This one happened when I was around 10 or 11. My younger sister and I got the wild idea of stretching
a rope between two trees, (the one tied high on the one tree, one tied low on the other). Using a metal rod (instead of
a well manufactured pulley harness which is commercially advisable :^) as a means for sliding-on I climbed to the
top of the tall tree, placed the slightly bent rod over the rope and after a moment to get my nerve up, pushed off.
Right a way the rod bent, holding me suspended for a moment, then the rope broke and gravity took over.

Something odd happens when you're touched by an angel. Time doesn't behave the way it normally does.

My attention was focused on two split scenes. I was vaguely aware of my falling through the tree limbs. But what
held me riveted was that I lay in the lap of an angelic personality, female, and she was saying something most loving
and supportive. I couldn't make out the words, I knew what they were, they were audible, but I could only hear
the meaning just outside of conscious reach.

And about us was what I could only call a choir of angels. There must have been thousands of them. A broad
ring that surrounded us both, close and up high, and a music, a song like none I had ever heard before or since.
I can only call it soul music. Perfect tone, perfect pitch, and heard deep within the energetic strands of awareness,
as well as by my young child's ears at the time.

It lasted what seemed like 10 or 15 minutes. When I hit the ground it shut off like a switch. I lay there
totally stunned. I was physically fine. I had slightly sprained my wrist from the impact... but I couldn't get
over what had just occurred! What the heck was that!?!

My sister and I finally talked about it some 5 years ago (I'm 52 now). I told her the story of what I saw that
day and with wide eyes she insisted she saw an angel floating around me on my fall. She didn't bring it up
before this because she thought I'd think she's off. I didn't tell her at the time for the same reason.

I've had a number of other highly bizarre events occur since then, but this one I hold with great warmth
and deep affection. To be touched by an angel is to warmly carry the imprint of that exchange for a lifetime.... :^)

You must be so pleased to be able to finaly talk to your sister about it! She must also be very pleased!

hmmm...once when I was a small child (about 4 or 5), I was hiding in a closet from my father who was on a rampage...not sure about all the details, but it was a very small space, and he should have seen me...but he didn't. I was told later on that "they" kept me hidden.
A few years ago, I was with my bf at the time, driving from my parent's house to his parents' on Christmas Eve. The car started billowing out white smoke, but my idiot ex just kept driving, until a man pulled along side us at a stop sign, and told us we'd better stop. We pulled into a parking lot, where the guy offered us a ride. Neither of us had a cell phone at the time and we were in the middle of nowhere, so we accepted. The guy drove us to our destination, regaling my ex-bf with stories of all these bands he'd met...never did figure out if he was real, but I consider him an "earth-angel" at least.

And last one...a few years ago, me and my sweetie got into an accident driving to a friend's wedding. It was raining cats and dogs, and visibility was terrible. We get almost to our exit and out of the spray, we see a long line of red taillights...my bf (who was driving) hits the brakes (forgetting they weren't anti-lock), and we start skidding. Off the brakes, regain a little control...apply brakes again, start skidding again...off brakes, regain control...see an opening and steer for it...out of nowhere, this 18-wheeler comes up and slams into the drivers side, pushing us into a BMW and a box truck. Apparently, someone was looking out for us that day, because the car was totalled, and I walked away without a scratch, and my bf only got a small piece of glass in his finger! The thing about that accident was that I knew we were gonna crash into something, so I imagined a ball of white light around the car...and looking at the car later, my door was the only one (out of 4) that didn't get hit by anything. Coincidence?

Oddly, the subject was approachable much earlier than that. By the age
of 28 or so she was a regular devotee of Jane Roberts "Seth", and I had already
stripped back several new age book stores for the info they contained. At the time
of the event we were hard catholics, attending catholic school, heavy on church,
angels didn't factor into what was available. When we finally discussed it we found
it odd that this experience had been left sitting there unattended that long!

I can attest to that.

I pretty much lived on the road for 8 years. From the age of 19 to 27 I probably
crossed the country some 50 times hitchhiking, lived for short spells in numerous locations
across the states, bicycled Europe, and lived for some 4 months plus in Israel. I traveled
by myself so there were times when things got fairly dicey. (for the record, I never panhandled,
I kept close watch of my finances and found work when they were low :^).

It early became evident that someone was covering my butt. There were times when
my immediate heath and well being rested closely on what I said and how I said it. There
were a few moments when my own personality was set to the side and a presence/voice took control
and talked "for" me. A very distinct calm would come over me and, like a passenger, I would
hear myself say stuff that I never wouldn't have thought to say had I months to think about it.

When the danger passed, and I was back alone to myself again, I would shake like a
leaf in a stiff breeze over the threat that had just occurred, and once again be in deep awe over
the intervention that took place!

Whether it was an angel or my higher self at the time I've yet to pin down. But clearly it
wasn't little ol conscious me that did the work...! :^)

Well what ever it was that had taken over, it helped you in these situations.

From chilhood onwards i can recollect certain occations in which i was saved from grave dangers. In most occations some persons came to my rescue.But on 2 ocaations i was escaped unknowingly. Sill i believe that is miracle.The miracle by angels?

I agree with you too M namasivayam, some times we have no answers to how we get through situations, or grave dangers. I believe that I have an angel on my shoulder, who guides me through situations. Thanks for sharing this too.
