Forgiving has very little to do with forgetting, even so, memories will fade as they become unimportant.

when jesus embraces his arms wide opened
on his cross, he wants us to be forgiving, and
cozy at it too. if we forget, we are be happy.
are we happy forgetting. Jesus wants us to
forgive even till this day. What lesson is worthy
beyond that? "Yup." that's a tough lesson,
therefore a good one

Someone once said that those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it. God only allows those things to happen that are for our good. That includes even the harm that others do to us. We must forgive but if we also forget we lose the good that came with the harm and God will have to repeat the lesson.

What about the unfortunate who have bad memories ?????
What about new born babies being blown to pieces, how is that for their own good????
I could go on and on but I surpose it would be wishful thinking to get some valid answers. Not that I need them because my God is not your God Theo, thankfully.
