Can anybody explain this reaction?
I will start out by saying that the experience is not my own, but that of my mother's. She is a frequent user of the pendulum, and will ask for its help in various situations. My mother's pendulum moves in a clockwise circle to say YES, and moves forwards and backwards when saying NO, left and right means that an answer cannot be given at this time.
The last time she used it though, something strange happened. She turned to her pendulum for answers in a difficult situation in the family, and everything worked as usual, until she asked questions about one certain member of the family. The pendulum then reacted in a way she had never seen before, stopping, and then moving in an anti-clockwise circle. For every question about this person, the pendulum did the same, whereas every other question was answered as usual.
Both my mother and I are very confused at this reaction, and despite searching the internet and books neither of us have found any information on something like this. Does anyone know what this could mean? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello Heksa, and welcome
I always thought a counter-clockwise spin of the pendulum meant “NO”. But being the pendulum works differently for everyone, and from what you have said “NO” reacts in a front-to-back motion. Perhaps she could ask the pendulum what it means through a process of elimination type manner. Start with the more obvious questions such as “Do I need to be more specific?” Does it mean Maybe?” Etc…
Best of luck,
Greg

sometimes etiquette requires that you first ask the Guides [yours and his/hers ] "...May I ...Can I ...Should I ???"
