Anxiety and a feeling of discomfort in my own skin
I get this from time to time, its an internal feeling of wanting to run away from myself? Does that make sense to anyone and is there a way i can help clear or manage this?
Thanks for reading

Most definitely. It was not until I found my fiance that I started to recognize when and why it started. For instance, Once I said "I'm so glad you love me for me. Even though I'm strange and kind of out there." A second later, a panic attack came on. He was calm while my heart was racing like mad. He asked me what had caused it. It was about five minutes after this discussion that I told him what was happening internally. We talked about our previous convo and he said, "There. Its that you don't feel you deserve someone who loves you for you." Which was true. After years of abuse and ** I had developed the mentality that I wasn't worthy of anything better.
Try to figure out what's bringing these fears on. I spent many years reading about trauma and pain and how it can effect your everyday life. Mediation helps immensely as well.

meditation and breathing, in addition to some sort of physical practice (e.g. running, swimming, tai chi, yoga, qigong, etc.)
if your intention is to use "auras & chakras" to address this feeling, these can be really helpful, qigong in particular since it works directly on the energy body. Over time, by working on the whole body, you reach a fuller balance where those feelings are much less common

Muladhara is your friend
I know it's an old thread but it might be useful information for anyone reading this, as ''discomfort in own skin'' is quite a common issue with a lot of people. Since this is the Auras & Chakras forum I recommend meditating on the 1st chakra. Visualize a red, warm light at the base of your spine. You could do this for say 10 minutes, repeatedly for a couple of days.
Additionally you can do the tree asana. Even wearing red can help in ways..
