Does Soul have a gender?

See by virtue of being Human we will have different thoughts and beliefs....

Think about languages

....languages are made by man..and it has many things in it..love hate being the most basic ones..then romantic love and evil hater being more complex ones...

But we do not think about it at all....so do not be confused and get stucked because of ur intelligence....

And dont feel bad to be arrogant...if ur heart is arrogant go with its flow...but here ur mind is pecieving the thing to be arrogant coz u think about about Anthropocentric angle...there are many languages where there is nothing called Anthropocentric thoughts....but still it does not make any difference...

Here I am not merely responding to question about the gender of soul.....I think there was nothing called Anthropocentric view at the time of Jesus also...plz dont be burdened by ur intelligence...look at think through ur heart..and then u may see the soul inside each of us..it is actually not a thing to be seen but to be percieved...just like God can be percieved..

It's not about 'feeling bad' to be arrogant. It's more that arrogance is misplaced.

Anthropocentric thinking is at least as old as civilisation. In the time of Jesus, people already believed that God had a human form.

You speak about ''look through ur heart'' but this is just poetry. Be concrete if you wish to make a point..

Thank u for enlightning me with this concept which is new to me...and now I see what u meant by Anthropocentric view...

Now let me tell u one thing...when we are junior classes we are taught that Earth is round and it revolves around the Sun..then as we grow in age and class we are taught about gravitation and why earth is round..etc..so it is a step by step process...

If the same is applied to understanding life then the concept of soul is the junior class...the what would be the understanding of seniors.....

See I am not sure about life outside earth so I am confining myself to the earth only....as far as I know only Earth has life..and this life has varied form...from bacteria to bluewhale...this whole life is one...nowhere else outside earth we hav life ...even if there is it is independent of the life of Earth..so the closed system of Earth where life exists...is composed of different kinds of life..some small...some big...some fast some slow..some intelligent and some not.....but the whole thing has one common thing and that is life....and the soul which we all have is just a part of the life which is present in this earth....if u feel this way then u can see the soul in each and everyone..

And the existence is not stationary...it is dynamic..it always wants to create new life..better life..for the only reason to survive and continue....long before men come into existence there was life on Earth and long after man becomes extint life will continue on this earth...so the main thing is not mankind and its kind of folly for us human to corrolatre everything with human...

So in a way I agree with ur view...

I think even if God exists it is not in the way we think it to be.. the God which we percieve on a different level...some worship nature..some feel god..some follow gods path...are just man-made and u cannot be sure that it is true..any man with a rational mind will not believe in it....
It is almost impossible to know everything about this existence as we are also a part of it...and our brain has limited thinking capability...just like cat and dogs hav...may be we are a little more intelligent but still it has its limitations...

But now if this is what truth is then in our life there are only few truths...our birth..our death and the love we feel and the love we make ..all othrs are variable...our morality is variable..it changes from culture to culture and era to era... what we think to right OR wrong is variable...

It is impossible to know the absolute truth...but it is relatively easy to know urself and feel love and make ones life better ...and we all actually live in our own world...so let us try to make the world we live in a happier place...

I am not sure about the path butI know the direction....I am a missionary without any mission...

In the Bible Matthew 22:30 says, "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven."

There will be no procreation or need further the race, the number of redeemed is set and the desires of this world will give way to higher gratifying delights.

And also consider although not explicitly said, after Jesus' death and resurrection Jesus retained His gender.

What if souls do have a gender and actually breed to produce other souls? Does this explain why populations are increasing?

The truth is that we have no idea what the truth is about souls, we guess, we are influenced by teachings, religions etc (despite denials..no -one lives in a bubble) media films, books etc all have given us ideas about the spirit world.

It seems to be logical that souls have no gender but only if you subscribe to the general spiritual story of the afterlife, there could be so much more to it than that.

The energy that is 'you' will have a more positive or more negative charge that will be interpreted corresponding to our understandings of the values we assign to such natural phenomena.. as in Yin/Yang, Masculine/Feminine, light/dark, etc.. these values do not always correspond to the 'gender' as it appears, and so may cause some confusion as Gender Identity..
