I just got back from the viewing for my stepdad, who died this last Saturday. Almost immediately, when I was looking at him laying there in the casket, I could have swore I saw his chest move, as if he were breathing. I was also looking at his face, focusing on his eyes for some reason, and then I could have sworn I saw his eyelashes fluttering, as if he were trying to open his eyes. I saw his chest moving several more times throughout our visit.
While driving home, I mentioned it to my boys, and my youngest son said he kept seeing the same thing too. Except that he didn't see the eyelashes fluttering, but he did see movement in the cheeks. I really think he wanted us to know he was there with us all. And then when just before I pulled into a place to get something to eat, I felt something on the back of my neck. It was kind of a warm/cool sensation, like how muscle rubs feel. It didn't stay there for long, just enough for me to know he was with us
