What are We? How are we?

Set aside the common view that we are merely biological entities. Let’s explore an alternative…

Consciousness/awareness/I am – the most fundamental form of you. ‘Sight without a mind’.

When we sleep, we may have dreams. In my dreams, I find myself doing things, going to places... existing in these fantastic environments. There are characters I meet that seem 'real', conscious. Beings I have never met, personalities I have never before been acquainted with, ideas I had never thought of before. People tend to dismiss dreams because of their often outrageous nature. Outrageous only because of our frame of reference. We take the physical world and its laws, as reference. Let's try not to skew the picture and remove any reference point.

Maybe dreams are other places which my awareness/consciousness can permeate and when I sleep I ‘let go’ of this specific frequency range of vibration (physical) and I am able to oscillate at a different rate. My consciousness ‘vibrates/oscillates’ at the same rate as the realm it is in. And hence I am able to see, and interact with the contents of that realm. Should the vibrations be altered, then you may find yourself moving to a place that vibrates at this new rate.

Much like the electromagnetic spectrum; a spectrum of vibration, from low to high, might exist for all that IS. The physical and astral made of the same essence (energy?) just that each oscillates/vibrates at a different rate. Hence there is no real separation, just a number of degrees in between, just as there a many shades of colour between black and white.

If we are consciousness, and we can shift from one location to another (from the physical to the astral and any other realms in between or beyond), then we have our being/existence in this ‘bubble’ that we can call the universe (any place where your awareness/consciousness can permeate).

Wow, so if we are One, maybe we are ‘meditating’… the universe being a creation of our meditation…

Just some ideas I am putting together at the moment. I would appreciate any input in the hopes of starting a discussion. Let me know, how you think things work, I’d be very interested.

I believe we are pieces of God-consciousness that have come to Earth to have an earthly life. Nothing more, nothing less.
There is only the mind of God and infinite love-that is all that is. Without God, we are nothing, but God is also nothing without us.

i like to think of what we are in the most simple and basic way there is.
atoms.trillions upon trillions of atoms.its kinda crazy when you really think about it.if you manged to isolate a single atom, there is no reason to belive that this atom has any conscince or self awarness at all, how ever, if enough of these atoms come together is just the perfect way, they create a being that is intelligent and self aware.now, what is atoms? atoms are energy essentially at there core.if we are made of atoms, and atoms are made of energy, then its safe to say we are energy at our cores as well.everything that exist is made of atoms, so everything that exist is energy, if everything that exist is made of the same stuff we are made of, then everything there is one in the same, given the difference of the type of state that the atoms are in, even if atoms form a different pattern and assumes a different vibration frequency does not mean that the core of what its made out of has changed, i mean, for example, if atoms bind together in such a way that they create water, then they are indeed water and assumes a liquid properties, but at the same time, that water is still made of atoms/ energy.

I know the whole 'what are we' and 'how are we' bit, that's the easy part.

The next question is...'why are we?'

That's the one I am struggling with right now...

I thought if I answered the 'what' and the 'how' that would lead me automatically to 'why'...alas, it did not.

Dreamland is a real place. The people that you interact with are your guides and they are putting on a play for you..That's the kindergarten version. I like to keep things easy. However we do interact in dreamland and visit common places and meet common guides. In otherwords we meet up there as it is a collective world and we are the consciousness.

Simply, we are energy.

Why are we? Because it is itself so, self so is the Uni-verse or "one song" and what is song but sound, what is sound but vibration, what is vibration but energy, hence we are energy.

Try to understand that you asking the question; "Why are we" is the Uni-verse asking itself for the reason it is. This is liken to the sun using the light of the moon to find out who the sun is. The sun is light, the light of the moon is but a reflection of that light, just as the body is but a reflection of energy expressed in form. There is no why other than it is itself so, life longing for itself.

To ask the question "why are we" is the result of the belief of separation, hence "we" as more than ONE. The belief that you are not the Uni-verse but a separate entity is the whole crux of the "supposed" problem. There is no separation, all life, the entirety of the whole universe is one whole and continuos movement. When one re-cognizes (remembers who its always been) who could ask such a question?
