Smile Rose Quartz Broke

Hello!

I'm new with crystals and have been experimenting with some. I recently got a rose quarts rod and had cleansed and charged it with my intent. The day after, I dropped it and it broke in three pieces. I've read that when they break it's that they have fulfilled or done all they could, well, it seems odd that after a day it would break, no?

I've bought five other rose quartz crystals and have lost all but two. Two were actually given away while they saw me holding on to them and the others I have lost.

The broken rod I had charged with attracting my true love. That same day after it broke, I kept dropping it, but it never broke. In fact it still fits together perfectly.

Also, what do you do with a broken crystal?

Any help is much appreciated!

Usually broken crystals can be used and gifted but looking at this it seems to say to me "Bury me in the earth...all pieces".
I may be mistaken so let other people respond as well:)

Hello Moonincancer!
Thank you for responding.

It's funny you got that impression as I've been doing nothing but gardening this week. I will bury it!

I would have to agree with moonincancer. This one needs to be buried now.

True it is a broken wand (which was fasted/cut/shaped) into it's present wand form..and not naturally occurring.
I'm undecided on if it's actually a rose quartz, There's no trace of the typically pink-red rose color.. So unless you've purchased from a vendor who claims it was a rose quartz or at one time it was pink-red and you've over used, abused or simply left in harsh lighting/sun light. I'd have to say this is the reason it broke.
In this case being a home faster (shoe string) I would simply cut/shape and polish the stones for other purposes. Furthermore, I'm very please to see others suggest the burring ritual.

Thank you all for responding!

I buried the crystal in my garden last night. What is the burial for?

To be honest, I thought the color was odd too as my other crystals are much more pink. This one looked more white. I bought it a few weeks ago, but I didn't like it and thought about returning it, so it never left the box it arrived in. The day it broke was the first time it left my home.

I am very clumsy and dropped it after only a few hours carrying it, but that same day I dropped it a couple of more times, but it never shattered further. In fact, it still fit together. So well that I thought about gluing it together.

I just wanted to know why it would break like that after one day of use. Do I have that much negative energy? Because I also have the first Rose Quartz stone that I have ever used, and that one is still sturdy and pink. Though it looks much darker than I remember

Cheers!

Amazing how no one has actually posted details about "how to" bury one's crystals, wait a min.. I thought some one posted this a very long time ago and just never completed filling in the blanks..

Maybe some day I'll get around to it..

Not all rose quartz is bright pink, higher quality quartz is usually more pink and gemmy but some rose quartz are barely more tinted than a milky clear quartz.

To note though, crystals are breakable and you don't know how they've been treated before you purchased them. Slight hairline cracks or weaknesses = breakage. Simply, you dropped it - don't think too much about the reasons why it broke.
