This morning I can see blue sky and the sun and it is a little cooler today! The wind and smoke has died down for now which is good for the asthmatics . I'm in a somewhat safer area, though it's so dry right now that the entire East Coast is on high fire danger alert.
I'd love it if a flash dance mob could do a rain dance and create a collective miracle for rain and restoration :-)

Tuesday evening we had a screaming blue norther blow in about 7pm....in less than two hours the temperature dropped from the low 80's to the high 40's!
It's sooo cold, rainy and grey!.....My thin tropical blood is not used to this and I'm already sick of it!

It's warm here today. It's 10 am and we're already at 27°f looks like the roads are cleared of ice too, getting out to enjoy the day. Yippee!

I like the rain check idea 
I just finished an article above watering established trees in drought and growing tough ground covers where all the bare ground is.
I will collect the water from the shower and do that. |

It took me a while to realize you have to have 3 rain checks in order to get rain.
Rain checks do have their downside: never try cashing them in at the bank. I found out the hard way.
