Yes it is extremely good for you. There was another post a while back on it. I take an oil pill daily!

It works extremely well as a lubricant......just stay close to a loo in the early days of taking it ......as everything slips around in there......hahahahahahaha

All other people are correct about it being good for you. You can also go to organic sections if your store has one and look for omega complex. I am not sure what brand but i take one because I used to take just the flaxseed oil. You might as well cover all of your omegas it does help with brain function too. Perhaps it could even give you a boost spiritually that is if you need it.
Enjoy

thanks for the info, when i brought it i read the back of the bottle, but the front says omega 3,6,9, brain heart and joints from holland and barrett. so far no slippery effects! thankfully however my bloated tummy feels much better so its worth taking just for that

Flax oil is great for you, you can also try out coconut oil because it is the only oil that can be cooked in high temperatures and won't turn into a trans fat, pumpkin oil and hemp oil. A great combination is Vega's EFA oil blend, which has all three of flax, pumpkin and hemp, that way when you do use it for salad dressings or whatever you would like it for, you get even more out of it:)

too much omega 3 not enough omega 6 .. both are antagonists.
the phytonutrients in flax seeds can mess up your hormonal balance if you use it too much and too often.

you need a 1:3 omega / omega 6 ratio.

hemp is simply the most complete, raw eggs are also awesome ( organic )

i agree it can be overdone. i prefer to take oils with food. whole"grain" amaranth is an excellent food source of omega 3's...a gift from the aztecs. organic virgin coconut oil is bloodfy yummy and darn good for you...i have about a tablespoonfull on baked sweet potatoes, lurvely. i'm not keen on taking stuff in supplement form personally. the right fats and not too much or too little are essential to health.

It is very good.

It is also a key part of the Budwig cancer treatment...

It's also great for regulating periods. But pregnant women should not take them because estrogen and hormone levels will be affected.
