You don't drag someone like that, pope or not. Even more so when it's an older person. She drags him in a way similar to how Trump shakes hands with people. I find the whole act rather suspicious, perhaps a staged event to create a ''gender issue'' out of it, get publicity, pressure the church to talk about those topics, etc. Maybe far fetched, or maybe not...

If you think he was justified in lashing out in anger instead of calmly asking her to let go then that's up to you.

This is the Christian forum and I've already posted the scripture of Leviticus 17:11.
So neil, you can voice your personal and errant opinion all you like but it's still errant, and wayward.
As you are.

Also, I'm not Catholic.
When I first heard about the hand slapping I thought, "Well, isn't that what he's there for? The people?"
But when I saw the footage I understood. He could have been hurt.

Yes but he can't be doing that every 5 seconds in between each member of the Audience, why anyone would want to kiss a ring anyway is a strange custom.

Oh right, I thought you meant he didn't want the germs.

It looks like he was shocked. It's not very nice to force someone towards you..

Maybe they could attend some anger management classes together.

Yes I know why it's done but kissing a ring is different than hand kissing.

The lady didn't look angry, she was just overwhelmed by his presence I think.... But she was very rude doing what she did.

I just researched Gen 1.29 a bit.

Christians are spreading the word, they sell "T" shirts with the Gen 1.29 verse.
So they are trying. So you can't ask why all Christians aren't trying.
You can't judge all Christians anymore.
Like with this question of yours.
Quote:
Why do Christians / not try to live as originally intended (i.e. vegan)?

Edit: I should amend this. People make judgments all the time, but your assuming all Christians don't try.
You have no way of knowing how many Christians have tried what.
And I realize my humor is not funny to many people. But it is funny to me.
So no need to take what I write too seriously. I won't mind.
