I love George Michael's "Last Christmas". Recently I have heard Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas" and enjoyed it.

Gonna put this song up, although it's not a traditional Christmas Song. The song reached number 1 in the UK singles chart Christmas 1994. This a re-release of the song for a suicide prevention charity. I didn't know the emotion and inspiration for the song was the suicide of Tony Mortimer's brother. Tony Mortimer wrote the song as a love ballad but I always knew this song was about something very deep indeed, love and the deepest loss. Also in memory of my own brother who died tragically. God Bless. :)

I love this by Jon Anderson, I grew up with his music, the band, Yes, and all the other good works he worked around.
Listen to it all.. it gets very mystical as you go deeper in, and the poetry is truly glorious.

Yes it's that time of year but on the flip side society often numbs out the deeper levels of its own being perhaps, I suppose i mean the collective unconscious or perhaps the shadow. But there is no doubt to the healing power of music, it can mend a broken heart God bless.
