Adriana's song

This is a poem I wrote for my mum on mothers day ;

As the spring glistens

and merges with the summer,

a family gathers.

My mother the centre piece

of our complex jigsaw.



Her voice echoes

through all of our compassion

on a maternal day.



Sentimental values

for this frozen moment,

that's also so fleeting.

I keep you within the now

that time cannot erase.
