I'm Glad I Met You
I decided to write this because I want to wish you well
There are times when I think about you and I wonder if you can tell
Sometimes I miss your smile and the ways you made me feel good
But I have to believe that things in life work out as they should
We had an unexplained connection that only we knew
It was so strong, I know you felt it too
I don't miss your dark days when sadness crept into your eyes
Those were the months that forced me to break our ties
I believe when you left that it was the best thing for me
Even though at times it was really hard to see
Sometimes I wonder if I cross your mind
If I took a look into your heart, what would I find?
I know one thing, I will never forget you
And I hope you my friend, will remember me too.
