I think depending how evolved we are spiritually, there can be many different triggers that can open our hearts to our spiritual awakening.

Even though anyone can learn and understand the nature of a TF connection, it is through our own experiences that allow us to have such a profound inner understanding.

Looking back now, I see there were so many signs for me. However, as I never realised them at the time, I needed a massive jolt - so meeting my spiritually aware TF became my catalyst where without even realising it she gently guided me through my spiritual awakening.

Although as you quite rightly say, I believe that we don't necessarily need our TF to always be the reason for our 'awakening'

Agreed, massive jolt is perfect. I've also heard "soul shock." Boy did I give my twin flame a massive jolt lol... as he did me.

Ghost Rider, I was actually pointing to the fact that the THEORY has nothing to do with the actual deeply personal, unexplainable, and unique experiences the twin flame couple goes through when one or both are awakening. For me, it was beyond any kind of conceptualization and the theory just helps my mind find a little peace.

But also, as you mentioned, many different things can trigger awakening! Bumping into your twin flame is one of many.

I believe in being 100% transparent with people whom I can trust 100%... so far that's just a handful of best friends but most extraordinarily my TF went to the top of that pack within weeks of meeting him while the rest I've known almost my entire life. If you trust him or her 100% you can always talk about what you are going through and have found. I told him about stumbling across the term TF the next day all excited. In fact I told him about our connection and my unexplainable love for him (he's married and I had just separated from my abusive husband and moved back to the city I grew up in) many months before that so this was some shocking but validating discovery for us. Did I ever think it would blow up in my face?? Noway!! I trusted him 100%!!

Well that's just me... If I'm sure I'm sure... I have a very unwavering strong fearless sort of instinctive character so that's how I function... from the heart without weighing the pros and cons mostly. Just follow your heart and soul is my advice... coz in my experience the heart and soul together can never be wrong. IMHO Its the mind and its fears/notions that's the culprit for all the messes.

What has to happen will happen if and when it is ordained to happen!

What if twins get awake in different things instead?Like, one realize how his/her bad habits are wrong (for example alchool) or how it's important to give importance to their true job, aspiration while one become awake first about the connection, the unconditional love... Both they know they have a connection and there is this love that is impossible to put in a box but not everyone awake at the same time, your twin could take more time to realize his/her awake and get rid of ego while you ascend faster than them. It'a a matter of time they should be awake, sooner or later.
