Jesus died before the Sabbath.
The Sabbath begins when the sun sits on what we call Friday.
So to answer your question, I guess I would
say I am a 6th day of the week crucifixion advocate.

BigJohn,
re: "So to answer your question, I guess I would

How do you account for the lack of a third night?

Jesus died before the Sabbath began which meant he died Friday before sunset (beginning of Sabbath).
√ In grave Friday night (Nisan 14) and part of Friday (Passover - Nisan 14) which began after sunset
√ In grave Saturday night (Nisan 15) and all day Saturday starting at sunset
√ In grave Sunday night (Nisan 16) and rose on Sunday sometime after sunset

BigJohn,
re: " In grave Friday night..."
Friday night would have been over some 9 hours by the time of the burial.

And that "someone new" needs to be someone who believes the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week with a 1st day of the week resurrection, and who thinks that the "heart of the earth" is referring to the tomb, and who tries to explain the lack of a 3rd night by saying that the Messiah was employing common figure of speech/colloquial language of the period.
