Throat chakra and pain

Hi,

I am new to this forum.

I've been having throat pain for the last week or so, and no antibiotic has helped. The pain becomes intense when I play the piano. There is no infection, lymph node swelling, or tonsils, or anything at all. The throat seems perfectly good, according to the doctor, but the pain is still there.

Which is why I am wondering whether the pain has nonphysical causes - throat chakra, namely.

Any ideas?

excellent thought Alfa!! Have you tried Chakra cleansing/ opening? Perhaps you have a blockage there. Also, think about your communications lately. Have you been having trouble communicating or feel like you are holding back on some communication? Is there something that you don't want to say or talk about? Or are you just having trouble speaking (i.e. stuttering or stammering) or with writing communication? Or it could be as simple as a blockage of communication with your guides and teachers or with your source energy (or God energy if you choose).

First thing that came to me when I read this post was "FEAR" that hidden fear at times we have in how we judge our talents or if one too sing's at the piano our very own voice.

How do ye honestly feel on how one plays ? See what feelings come up.

We need more information, Alfa. Lots of questions.
Age, sex, where exactly is the pain
What kind of pain, sharp, dull, throb, sore throat, lump..
Why do YOU think it is when you play - position of head?
Is it emotional to play. (It's never happened before, right - how many years have you played - so why now?)
You say 'becomes intense' - but not the word 'only'- so what other things do you do that make it worse?
Are mornings any different - eating effect at all --
If there was no infection - who threw antibiotics at you...sorry MDs bother me.
I am not surprised the MDs found nothing.
I'm glad you got right on this after only one week!

Have you seen a chiropractor - sometimes a vertabrae presses the esophagus - I'm reaching here...
What tests exactly have been done - and what kind of MD - an Ears, nose and throat or GP?

Intuitively, what do you think is the cause.

I'm with Lynn on this--that's exactly the first thing that came to my mind.

Piano to me means expression. Either it brings up things one might feel but can't express or maybe can express but are hard to feel.

I think Lynn'e questions were on target. How do you feel about your playing and/or singing?

I agree with Miss Hepburn about more info, as what we offer is our thoughts. As you mentioned, you have in fact been to a physician, so that is thankful. There are plenty of throat chakra specific meditations and balancing (as is the case with all the chakras). Do a Google search and you will hit the jackpot! Then there are the blue stones that can be used in conjunction with it-turquoise and lapis lazuli for example. I believe in chakra work, but I certainly continue regular medical care too, so IMHO, keep the doctor informed if the pain persists.
