Genes Kick in 48hrs After Death
I had the radio on last night while I was trying to sleep...trying to help me sleep...that it did not, but while I had it on, I listened to a story about a recent scientific discovery that has been made only a few days ago which may have implications for the whole of mankind:
https://www.newscientist.com/article...s-after-death/
Please read it and tell me what you think. Thanks.

Would help explain how heart transplantees take up some of the likes and dislikes of the donator.

What has Vegan Society gotta do?
Yes, I was also hoping this would spark the whole genetic memory debate as well as what those genes are doing getting switched on after the body has no biological need for it?
Sorry if I can't explain things at the time of posting links to things.
Thanks for replying. :)

Maybe knightofalbion believes that as plants don't 'bleed' they don't have anything of importance in this regard? I mean you can't very well pat a corn stalk nor cuddle with a watermelon. Though they are indeed alive & well unless they're holograms they'd have genes too.
But then isn't it interesting scientists are finding trees and other plants do actually make noise in response to distress. Thirsty, drought, etc. And well that there's numerous studies showing plants feel pain too.
Sorry, tad sarcastic, but it is rather amusing in a way.

Yeah, because humans need to eat something right?
They have already implanted genes of bioluminescent sea creatures into plants and stuff...'glow in the dark geranium' stuff....
May explain certain cancers though...as well as injecting bacteria into cancer cells to fight them etc etc...

If you read the article, the experimentation was on fish and animal cells.
The implications are obvious, I would have thought.
Add this to the numerous reports of beloved pets and other animals in NDEs ...

So, how long have you been a fruitarian?

Ah, I apologise if I caused any disrespect to those sensitive to these issues. I just posted the article out of interest.

That's alright, dear soul. I know you did not mean any offence.
I don't want to take the thread of track, but ... The Animal Kingdom is suffering a lot of bad things at the hands of humankind.
Man was created to be 'the sanctuary of love and justice', not to hurt and kill.
It is the, what you might call, disconnect that makes it all happen. At all levels, denial of soul, denial of emotion, denial of feeling, denial of responsibility ....
Anyone who has ever had a pet dog for example can readily attest to the presence of the full spectrum of emotions, though expressed in other ways; the love, the selfless, pure, unconditional love - that both teaches us and shames us at the same time ...
It's Spirit!, soul!, just packaged differently.
So anything which can help to awaken people and re-establish the connection can only be a good thing.
