The Secret = Awesome Read!

Have any of you read the book "The Secret"? OMG . . . . it really opened my eyes to the law of attraction and how my thought patterns have created the direction my life has gone! Ive been going to Barnes and Noble to read it (when i receive money i will definitely purcahace it) and it made me realize alot about the way i think and how it relates to what has occured in my life. Anyone who has doubts or negative thoughts should definately read this book. Has any of you experienced a better life after reading this book?

I watched the documentary, but I have always been a bit dubious on the whole "Law of Attraction" thing. I'm a skeptic, its my nature

While you are waiting,you can download an e-book for FREE (and legally to my knowledge,as I understood they want your success,not your money). It is called The science of getting rich by Wallace D. Wattles.
It's written in 1910. I personally enjoy it more than The secret.It has warmer feel to it imo,but the mesage is the same,actually I think The secret is like an later version drawn out of it.

I was sorely disappointed with that book years ago and regret wasting the time to read it, sorry but it's just how I feel. :)

The Secret is a spin off from The Master Key System by Charles F Haanel.
If you can get the version that has the original text included that is what you want to read not the updated text; although the updated text is an easier read. Some of you may understand why i say read the original text. I think it was written in about 1920; plenty of copies on Amazon pretty cheap.
But with all of these books centred around the Law of Attraction i am aware that the complete picture is not revealed. If it was everyboby would be healthy, wealthy and wise. Too many of the books like the Secret focus on wealth but then that is a marketing ploy
its actually the only book to do with personal development/healing that i have partially looked at in over 15 years. Its worth remembering that knowledge is not always helpful, insight is far more useful.

I have read "The Secret" and another book out recently called "The Wish" (Not the same authors).
In fact many of the books I have read lately keep reiterating the fact that what you think does go out to the universe and come back to you, so perhaps its trying to tell me something. :)
I know I tend to worry about everything and look at something from all the different angles, so being positive and grateful in one's life can only be beneficial.
