God Higher Up...

Do you believe in a higher God? Not just a God who is within, but a God who is higher up. I am finding that as I regularly pray to Jesus (I also pray to the Goddess) that I am slowly spiritually rising. I am now higher than the deep darkness that I was in a few years ago.

I can imagine that going within is very satisfying, but to me going UP is so much more satisfying. Imagine transcending all the misery and fear in the world and existing in a graceful and peaceful place.

There is a quote from a CS Lewis book - "further up and further in" and also "farewell to the shadowlands". I find Jesus takes me to such places. It does not come easy. I have to work for it. But it IS happening.

I am really happy for you, it takes a major effort to shift from one set of beliefs to another set of beliefs, the older being the one who caused you so much suffering and inner torment, and we see that Christ's disciples did not become sadder but happier and able to give their life at any time for God. I don't know what to say about that Goddess, be aware, why bother with lower gods when you can go straight to the source!

Some speak about the Universe...... the all encompassing.

Science keeps coming out with new discoveries that prove intelligent design is at work everywhere. Basically proving "God" exists.
