Are we God?
Hi all, As you know we all go out of our bodies every night. We are spiritual so does that mean we are God. When we are out of our bodies, we can go through walls, create things and do other things. It has been on my mind for a while.

Ive heard this question many times and there is some truth to it without going overboard.
If you are from the seed of your mother and father, you are technically your mom and dad. But at the same time you your own individual personality and you have a unique genetic makeup unlike anyone else.
That is how I see it. We are God because all God had to make us was his own Self, his/her own essence. So we are God in a sense of essence. But God made everyone of us different and individualized.
If anything, the Godself in us all is an Angelic self. It is divine but needs evolution to grow and mature just like a seed to a baby to a child to a teenager to an adult to a mature-wise person.

I see us as a part of God. A God that is conscious and energy.
P.s. there is an interesting post by light beam on astral pulse, titled I ask to see God.

I don't feel that I am. Animals have astral bodies too.

No, we are not God, we are God's children.
God is different from us.
And we differ from each other because of insight in Life and free-will.

Whatever you think god is you either are or you are not.

This doesn't defy what astralsuzy said. Maybe all living beings , or to be more precise, all conscious beings are Gods. But in the end of the day we all got to meet God in some way in our short stay in this dimension.

I think there are a lot of different possibilities. "God" may be an enormous collection or cluster of "individual" consciousnesses that literally created our universe. God can be the total of all consciousness on our earth/universe which would mean we are all a little slice of God consciousness as a total just split up all over (very unevenly). This would make the idea of consciousness experiencing itself in a individualistic sense sound plausible. Maybe even a mixture of both? If there was a god creator, I think there are many of them. It's not easy for a human mind to grasp something so limitless and abstract. But I do enjoy thinking of all the possibilities :)

Amilius makes a very interesting point. Never thought of it like that.
