Think I met my twin flame?

I think I met my twin flame, but I'm not sure. I didn't believe in twin flames before now. This just seems so odd.

Backstory: I'm married. The last few years have been a journey of growth and healing for me. I've finally beat my lifelong depression and alcohol issues. I've come to a place of happiness and contentment in my life.

So here's how it happened. I'm a member of a an online forum. This man (he's about 10 years older than me) started showing me a lot of attention. So I started chatting with him. We were both pretty attracted to each other (but I'm married so that's as far as it goes.)

Weird things:

1. When I saw his picture, it was like looking at myself in male form. We have very similar features.

2. We both have very similar interests and pleasures that are quite specific and go beyond general things.

3. I began seeing his name everywhere I went, on road signs, etc. I also started seeing the name of the country he is from everywhere.

4. My daughter's middle name is the name of the region his family is from.

5. His cat's name is my nickname on that forum (which is to say, a random word that is not usually a cat's name).

6. We have both struggled with the VERY EXACT SAME issues in our lives (about 5 or 6 specific issues) and have both recently triumphed over them.

7. We live on mirror opposite ends of the earth.

8. The day I decided to quit that forum, I logged on and saw he had done the same. (We were chatting on Whatsapp off the forum)

9. We both got sick with stomach flu the same day we began a chat relationship.

10. The next day my husband casually mentioned that he would like to have a different job someday-- and it was the same job that this guy does (also, not something I would see my husband doing).

11. I can't seem to break the relationship with him. I've tried a few times, but he keeps coming back.

There are more that I can't think of at the moment.

I also saw the 11:11 sign a few days ago. Happened to look at my watch and it was 11:11. On the 11th day. And there were 1.1 steps on my pedometer.

He is NOT my soul mate and I know I could not be married to this guy. To be honest, I don't even like him that much. I know that my husband is the one I am supposed to be with. But I can't deny the synchronicities with this guy. I know he's noticed it too.

Also, one night I was falling asleep and I was praying to my spirit guide to clarify this for me. I heard (not imagined) a man's voice say "yes". I don't know what "yes" means. Yes he is my twin? I don't know.

Edit to add this:

Months ago, my marriage was on shaky ground (it's fine now.) During that time, I had a vivid dream that I was walking through my house, calling my husband's name. My husband was gone. As I walked through the house, I looked out the back window, and a man was walking in his yard. He picked up a newspaper, looked up and noticed me. I understood that this was to be my new "man". Then I suddenly woke up. It felt strongly like a premonition dream, although I put it out of my head and worked on my marriage instead.

I'm not sure if this is the same guy that was in that dream, but he sent me a picture yesterday.... he was younger in the picture, and he had the same build as the man I saw in the dream. It did make me wonder.

things to take not of can be that the universe will let your belief come true
what ever they are and all aligns with that , now if those belief include all the things you knew about twin flames those will become real too

realities can become shared and will become shared

and all those things

to be hones I hope your not going for the split soul myth

souls are one whole thing , yet the whole might perhaps rarely experienced as such on earth , and no part of you will incarnate as an other human

parts of you might have energy barriers in between them that can be lifted

but you are whole and never two parts , male and female energy are divided
in most on earth but this has nothing to do with being male or female

both have them

also past and future interact since past and future as such are only real
in the incarnated reality . in other realities you can see your whole incarnated life from start to end .

many points among your incarnated life are planed before hand and often involve other persons , this can create all these sincs . and such things

uh why not see who he was in a past life and how you related back than :-)

For me, I'm now of the belief that there is one twin ray, 7 twin flames, soul mates, twin souls, etc.. I found it by looking up, "twin ray," and when this all began with my first conscious twin flame meeting if I had even thought of having to journey through all I have been through.. well even the Idea there was more than one.. was too much..
If you are with a soul mate or at least happy with your husband you are indeed blessed. Perhaps, pull back to allow your centered reality to remain.. The t.f.'s are a draw to us, but when pulling back it is also where one can stay grounded .. & also.. if there is a soul FAMILY, then to make sure everyone is on board.. is part of the staying grounded & pulled back enough to stay sane. If things go too fast or get out of control, it's much harder to maintain..
Yes it's a higher energy as to this propulsion of meeting the twin ray/ twin flames/ etc..& I think a good number are already near us over our lifetime.. in whatever way, immediate family &/or relatives..
I think you are just sharing what you are going through..Writing helps.
I wrote a lot each one of these I have been meeting, not to minimize or discount any of the connections one bit.. again it's like when this awakening occurs, & one is in contact with a twin flame, or twin ray, twin soul, soul mate, etc.. there can be energy shifting.. writing helps tons for me..

If this is a twin flame & you are happy in your marriage, perhaps it is one of your connections that you will have some contact with but over eternity.. I sort of think this is expanded very literal in time & space. I believe there are 2 that I will be closest to.. but the others around, doing what we love doing.. but there are others.. it's soul FAMILY.
(that's what i'm seeing and everyone's experiences vary)..

I don't understand his communication style. Over the course of our "friendship" (a month or two) we have been trying to figure each other out, hurting each other's feelings, arguing, and attempting to break up. He is the polar opposite of me in virtually every way. For some reason, he keeps coming back.

I think it may be over, for the time being at least. I'm OK with that. If he is my twin then he is a ****** one.

Not sure if I believe in the whole twin thing anyway.

no was not in past life , is soul family , there will be reasons but its always for you to decide what you like or do or think best .

I don't believe anymore, i used to though but it ruined my life so i gave up on it. Doesn't matter if you believe or not, i just want to ask, does it matter? What difference does it make if they are your twin or not? It doesn't make your relationship any different than what it is right now. It only puts one label on it, that is difficult to shed and might not be goo if we put that label on a wrong person.

Cool synchronities though, they are always nice and fun.

With the polar opposities. We can get stuck on them. Like someone against abortion to me is the polar opposite. I wouldn't date that kind of person though. We can find opposities in everything, if this twin flame is real, the meaning of polar opposities is something entirely different than liking the color black or white. It's about spiritual opposities of masculine and feminine. It's in little things, like you feeling sad and them being able to console you in a way that hits the exact places what you feel.

Why i don't believe in twin flames. It would be almost impossible to see that in another person. Them hitting you in every level, every way. Relationships are difficult enough the way they are. We as humans are not ready for that kind of relationships.

I've decided this guy is not my twin flame. We don't really even get along well. He responds to my texts but apparently is too "busy" to chat, so I am feeling kind of disappointed and guilty about the whole thing. Question now is, do I block him?
