Omg couldn’t believe it when I read about Atalanta winning the Europa. I thought Leverkusen would walk all over them. Well ya never know hey.

Where the hell did they come from all of a sudden. They seemed to step out of the blue and win win win. They literally smashed us at Anfield and not many teams can do that.

So good to see the underdog take the final big prize tho. Love it!

I'm in complete agreement with you on that Red.
We love a shocker !!!
It's one of the reasons I love the FA Cup so much cos absolutely all the teams, big and small are involved , and there's always an underdog that does well.

Even though the full squad for the euros hasn't been officially announced , it's looking like Brentfords Ivan Toney has made the team.

My husband is really big and impressed with Toney who is 28 , so no spring chicken to football ...
But hopefully he will get his first cap for England ..

Southgate has said he will announce the official squad after the friendlies with Bolivia and Norway friendlies in the 3rd and 7th of June ..

Ok... So just ignore me.
You all know I'm thick as a post anyway.
It's NOT friendlies with Bolivia and Norway ...
It's friendlies with Bosnia and Iceland ...
No matter .... Same difference ... A bit..
Somewhat ....
Ok , it's not even remotely the same...
( Just humour me !)....

So only now can I bring myself to talk about it, some 7 months later.
But I should have been going to Anfield stadium next month .
Not to watch footy , but to see "Pink" again in concert !
And Anfield was the closest venue even at a 350 mile or so round trip.
I'm gutted.
I was excited initially because the tickets hadn't gone on sale then ( last November) , but when I gave it a lot of thought I knew it would be a step too far and too much for me.
Hubby was a bit excited too as he's never been to Anfield and it would have been nice to pay homage to klopp ( and Redchic!) just by being there.
But wasn't to be.

If you ever make it to Anfield you must go on the tour. It’s absolutely awesome.

Maybe get a ticket for the tour and give it to your hubby for his birthday lol

Train tickets aren’t expensive and he can be there and back in a day ha

Just a thought.

Great thought Red.
Only prob he'd have to go on his own LOL...
Awww.... But he's always had a soft spot for em
( After Bradford of course..)

Although , having said that, he used to go to Liverpool on his own to meet with people when he was doing research for a book.
