Will there be contact again?
Hi all, just a quick reading 'Will X contact Y soon?'
Basis - Ten of Pentacles. They're both single, so I think this card represents both of them coming from a place of stability and grounded feelings. The man doesn't seem to be giving up. It's not wands, so it's not likely to burn out fast.
His hopes/fears - Knight of Wands. He wants things to progress quickly (it's been a very long fight for him) he is eager, enthusiastic, maybe a bit randy, but ready for change.
Favourable - 2 of Cups. He wants to connect with her and establish a bond. Mutual attraction.
Obstacles - 6 of Wands. "Why should I contact her again?!" pride!
Outcome - The Emperor. He knows what he wants and he gets it. Although this is probably a stubborn card, I think with the 2 of Cups he will contact her again. They left off on a very positive note from what she has told me (he invited her for a drink but she was busy)
What do you see?

Knight of Wands as hope and fears is he doesn't want to be tied down. I think he wants to sow his wild oats. I'm not seeing "soon" with The Emperor.

Interesting! With the Emperor, he's definitely the one in control. I think he's afraid of losing his freedom

I actually know both of them in real life and that is TRUE, AQ! he is so bossy too ... a nice guy, but definitely knows how he wants things done haha!

I'd say with all things considered... there is something there but I don't particularly like the Emperor as the outcome card. It suggests to me that once he gets what he wants, everything will be on his terms. But if that's what the other party wants then all the power to them. I see this as a very "one-sided" relationship once the "game" is over...

When I placed the card down, I automatically thought 'he's not givin up' and 'possessive'. He's the reserved sensitive type, but knows what he wants so there is definitely a bossy streak. He's met his match with her though, she's not the type to be bossed around haha ;)
But yes, can see what you mean about one wanting to lord it over the other ... Thanks UL ! |
