Hi Tabee, I just found out today that the lower gorge section of Taughannock is closed for a time to clean up debris (fallen trees, rocks)...probably general maintenance. They've been doing work on the trails for over a year now. The top rim trails are still open but the bottom gorge trail to the falls is not. I go in the mornings to run to avoid crowds.

Wow, What a great information about NYC. I also a big lover of this city and its attractions. It is a home of great and lovely places. I also visited it many of the times and still want to go there again and again. The Niagara Falls is the main and my favorite attraction in this city. It attracts my attention and force to come there soon. Has anyone visited it in life?

I went to Niagara Falls last weekend. It's a bit (okay, a lot a bit) too commercialized for me. My family was laughing because I was taking pictures of people taking pictures with those selfie sticks. The pictures are hysterical. Anyway, we went over to the Canadian side which is prettier, I think and cleaner...Walked around the nearby town and it was insane...a tourist trap. It's all well and good but I prefer scenic places without crowds.

It is a beautiful place to visit, though the Canadian side is a better view of the Falls, it is now so commercialized. I really like your photos.
