I'm engaged!
I haven't been on here much, but thought I'd change that. Life has been busy, but in a very good way for a change. When I first joined here, I was exploring Islam, and was bordering atheism. About 4 months ago, I returned back to Christianity from having a faith experience with the Holy Spirit, it was like nothing I had experienced before when I was a Christian the first time.
Fast forward to now, I am engaged! I dated a guy about 4 years ago, and he received a job promotion that took him overseas. He had asked me to come with him, but I declined ...even though we were really in love. But, I wasn't going to follow a guy overseas, without any type of commitment. Then, he returned a few weeks ago to the states, and texted me. I couldn't believe it. We met up, and the rest as they say...is history. Guess we never stopped loving each other. It's been such a blessing, just wanted to share!
